Preparing for prosecution
About this course
This module provides the learner with definitions and explanations of the process for prosecuting in the New Zealand context.
It is designed to be a guide to understanding how the process works and the terminology they will need to become familiar with if they are in a role that includes prosecuting under any New Zealand legislation.
Alternatively, any organisation that employs investigators, security or compliance officers, such as Insurance or Retail focused companies, may refer cases to other agencies for prosecution. This module is therefore of interest to these companies to help their staff have a better understanding of the process involved.
This module may be of interest to anyone wanting to understand more about how the prosecution process or court system operates.
